Unique colour and light...
The East Neuk of Fife is a Mecca for artists from around the world but what makes it so unique is the strength of the local artistic community. Here is list of the permanent and seasonal activities surrounding this most vibrant of artistic Kingdoms:
Pittenweem Arts Festival
1st - 19th August 2009
Pittenweem is becoming known as a small town where a variety of art and craft can be seen and bought throughout the year. Several small galleries and shops have opened in the past few years, showing changing exhibitions of mainly Scottish work. It is also the home of the Scottish Collection of "Outsider Art". What attracts artists to Pittenweem is the stunning location offering endless subject material, the clear air and vibrant colours, and not least, the highly successful annual Pittenweem Arts Festival.
